DraftKings Sportsbook fans, rejoice. The 100-1 odds boost is back for another NFL weekend.
January 17, 2021, by BN Staff Sports Betting. The NFL Playoffs continue this weekend and DraftKings Sportsbook is gearing up for a busy run of football betting by offering new players who sign up between now and the final game on the board an awesome 100-1 odds boost. With eight teams in action over the weekend, DraftKings is offering new bettors the opportunity to grab no-brainer +10000 odds on any team to win. Of course, with the 100-1 odds boost in play, a bettor must only wager a single dollar in order to generate the same profit. Obviously, this offer effectively eliminates the risk. It does so while still providing new players with a substantial win to kickoff the DraftKings experience.
Despite having both no preseason and no fans in the stands thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 NFL season kicked off last week. NJ sportsbooks like DraftKings were quick to celebrate with odds boosts and promos.
One of the biggest and most tempting odds boosts was the 100-1 odds boost. Well, this particular odds boost was so popular that DraftKings decided to bring it back for NFL Week Two, which is good news for players in New Jersey.
The DraftKings 100-1 odds boost promo is only for new DraftKings Sportsbook players and is only playable on the Sunday and Monday NFL Week Two games.
That’s right. Any NFL game on Sunday and Monday is once again up for grabs for this odds boost.
How to get the 100-1 odds boost at DraftKings
If you are signing up for DraftKings and want to use the 100-1 odds boost on a Week Two game, there are a couple of steps to follow, but it’s simple to do.
Draftkings Odds Booster
First, you have to deposit a minimum of $5 into your newly created DraftKings Sportsbook account. After making your initial deposit, head over to the Promos/Rewards page and pick the game that you’d like to use the odds boost for by clicking the “Boost This Game.”
Be careful, though, because once you make your pick, you can’t go back and change it.
After picking the game that you’d like to boost, you will be issued a single-use odds boost to choose for +10000 (100-1) odds for a team to win that game.
From there, you can apply your boost to any Sunday or Monday (Sept. 20-21) football game by adding that team’s moneyline to the bet slip and applying the boost.
The maximum amount that can be bet on this odds boost is $1, which would pay out $100, and it can’t be used as part of any live bets, parlays, cash-out bets, free bets or voided bets.
Note that the Thursday Night Football game is excluded, but there are other odds boosts available for the Bengals-Browns game.

Bet $1, win $100 … but on which game?
Ideally, you should use this odds boost in one of these two situations: either on a favorite that you are 1,000% certain on winning or on a slight underdog that has a spread that can be easily covered.
Based on DraftKings’ lines, there are four potential options that would be good plays for the 100-1 odds boost.
Unfortunately for DraftKings players in the Garden State, none of the three local teams are one of those four plays. In fact, two of the three are on the opposite end.

The New York Jets are hosting the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, and the Niners are favored by a touchdown. As a fan of Gang Green, it pains me to say this, but based off of Week One and Le’Veon Bell now being on injured reserve, I see the Niners covering the seven points with ease.
The Philadelphia Eagles are only one-point underdogs to the Los Angeles Rams, making this a borderline toss-up. But I feel the Rams are a better team than the Eagles, especially after Philly’s collapse against Washington.
Other good bets for NFL Week 2
Week One saw the Baltimore Ravens completely run through the Cleveland Browns. In NFL Week Two, the Ravens are favored by a touchdown over the Houston Texans.
While Houston is a good team, they fell apart in their loss to the defending Super Bowl champs Kansas City. The Texans couldn’t keep up against a high-powered offense. I expect another double-digit win for the Ravens on Sunday.
The final potential play is the Sunday night game between the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks. The Pats are four-point underdogs at DraftKings against the Seahawks. But the team showed no real slowing down, even with the loss of Tom Brady and the addition of Cam Newton.
Your DraftKings 100-1 odds boost is a good bet for this game, too.
The big name is back.
Conor McGregor could be past his MMA prime, but he’s arguably still the biggest draw in the sport.
And his bout with Dustin Poirier at UFC 257 Saturday in Abu Dhabi has energized fight fans, leading to some monster bets at the nation’s sportsbooks.
According to ESPN, earlier this week a bettor in New Jersey made a $188,800 wager on McGregor at FanDuel Sportsbook that would win a net $65,103. (The moneyline price was -290). Last week, a sportsbook operator at PointsBet took a $100,000 bet on McGregor at -277 odds. And the sportsbooks expect even more action as the fight approaches on Saturday.
“Saturday is trending to be our biggest UFC event ever, surpassing UFC 246, when McGregor took out Donald Cerrone,” Patrick Eichner, communications director for PointsBet told ESPN.
PA sports betting apps all offer odds and a number of wagers for Saturday’s bouts. We highlight some of them here for you.

McGregor fighting as lightweight for the first time in three years
As noted in a preview at CBS Sports, Conor McGregor is moving back to the lightweight division at UFC 257 for the first time since 2018. And in his last UFC fight (as a welterweight), McGregor knocked out Donald Cerrone nearly a year ago in just 40 seconds.
McGregor has also fought Poirier once before. In 2014, McGregor defeated Poirier by KO/TKO in the first round at UFC 178. Poirier has lost only twice since then, including a submission defeat to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 242 in 2019.
In Saturday’s fight (which starts with early prelims at 6 p.m. on ESPN+ before moving to ESPN Pay-Per-View for the main card), McGregor is -305 at DraftKings Sportsbook. Poirier is +250. The fight’s over/under is set at 2.5 rounds.
There are also wagers available on the winning method and winning round for the main event and the rest of Saturday’s fights.
The remaining matchups on the 12-fight card and the moneyline odds according to DraftKings are as follows:
- Dan Hooker (-125) vs. Michael Chandler (+100)
- Joanne Calderwood (-117) vs. Jessica Eye (-105)
- Ottman Azaitar (-155) vs. Matt Frevola (+125)
- Amanda Ribas (-335) vs. Marina Rodriguez (+250)
- Arman Tsarukyan (-286) vs. Nasrat Haqparast (+225)
- Brad Tavares (-150) vs. Antonio Carlos Junior (+120)
- Sara McMann (-130) vs. Julianna Pena (+105)
- Khalil Rountree (-335) vs. Marcin Prachnio (+250)
- Makhmud Muradov (-143) vs. Andrew Sanchez (+115)
- Movsar Evloev (-420) vs. Nik Lentz (+330)
- Zhalgas Zhumagulov (-125) vs. Amir Albazi (+100)
DraftKings 257 Special features $1 million prize pool
Daily fantasy players can also cash in on big prizes during Saturday’s MMA action. At DraftKings, the $25 entry UFC 257 Special pays out $200,000 to first and a million dollars in all. Second place takes home $100k and third receives $40,000. Another contest, the MMA Haymaker, has a $100,000 prize pool at a much cheaper $3 entry fee.

And over at FanDuel the flagship contest is an $8.88 entry UFC Octagon that features a $150k prize pool and a first-place prize of $30,000.

So whether you’re building a daily fantasy lineup or a betting slip at your favorite sportsbook, Saturday’s UFC action has plenty to offer.
Draftkings Odds Boost Super Bowl
There are 12 fights on the card. A few promotions to build your bankroll. And one of the UFC’s biggest names in the main event.
Conor McGregor will soon be in the Octagon again.
And that’s more than enough to get things buzzing.
